Women's Ministry
The Sonshine Girls - Ladies Bible Study
Facilitated by Michele Gianino, this group meets every Wednesday morning 9:00am-10:00am in the Fellowship Hall.
This women’s Bible Study group has learned that through their small group fellowship, we create friendships, prayer partners, and support for a happier, fuller life in Christ.
Saturday Morning "Uplifters" Women's Bible Study
Facilitated by Mitzie Hoeh, this group meets Saturday Mornings at 7:00 am in
the Narthex.
Current book study is, “Help is Here” by Max Lucado. This is a new women’s group and may still have room for a few more ladies.
The group's focus Scripture is
1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
Gaylord Methodist Women
GMW warmly extends an invitation of membership to the woman of our congregation who finds meaning in her church and is drawn to combine fellowship with study, worship and outreach opportunities. To the woman who feels she has gifts that are to be shared, who seeks a supportive community and has a commitment to God. Members may participate in one of three monthly circle groups, (Faith Circle, Hope Circle, Margueretta Circle), monthly meetings, enjoying fellowship and Bible Study. Members also experience Faith in action by engaging in annual activities: Call to Prayer and Self Denial, March Soup Lunches, White Breakfast, Lavender Dinner, Alpenfest Lunches, Holiday House Bazaar, Pasty Sale. All financial proceeds are given to support global, national, state and local missions. Still not sure you want to join? Come and experience each of the Circles—kick the tires so to speak.
We are happy to pair you up with a Circle member for meetings or you can simply attend and participate.
- The GMW Unit meets at 1:00pm the first Tuesday of the Month.
- Hope Circle meets at 1:00pm, the Second Tuesday of the month.
- The Faith Circle meets at 1:00pm, third Tuesday of the month..
- Margueretta Circle meets at 7:00pm, the second Tuesday of the month.

"Bad Girls of the Bible" Study Group
NEW STUDY!
Facilitated by Cheri Hunter, this group meets Thursdays at 6:30pm beginning April 24th.
They will be studying the book,"Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs. "Bad Girls of the Bible" is for all women – from Former "Bad Girls" who need to be reminded we’re truly forgiven, to Veteran "Good Girls" who long to grow in understanding. Please join us!
