The Sonshine Girls - Ladies Bible Study
Facilitated by Michele Gianino, this group meets every Wednesday morning 9:00am-10:00am in the Fellowship Hall.
The group will be studying "The Class Meeting" by Kevin Watson, who has written a fresh new guide to the theory and practice of the Wesley class meeting, an essential element of truly Wesleyan spirituality. This book will bring renewal to the lives of women and men created in the image of God.
"Bad Girls of the Bible" Study Group
Facilitated by Cheri Hunter, this group meets every Thursday at 6:30pm in Room 109.
Learn from less-than-perfect women as author Liz Higgs illustrates the lessons of scripture in a creative, fun-loving way.

LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together)
RESUMES SEPTEMBER 15TH, 2025
Facilitated by Cathy Elsesser, this group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 5:30pm-7:00pm in Room 102. They will be studying "Tame Your Thoughts" by Max Lucado. New members are welcome.
Gaylord Methodist Women
GMW warmly extends an invitation of membership to the woman of our congregation who finds meaning in her church and is drawn to combine fellowship with study, worship and outreach opportunities. To the woman who feels she has gifts that are to be shared, who seeks a supportive community and has a commitment to God. Members may participate in one of three monthly circle groups, (Faith Circle, Hope Circle, Margueretta Circle), monthly meetings, enjoying fellowship and Bible Study. Members also experience Faith in action by engaging in annual activities: Call to Prayer and Self Denial, March Soup Lunches, White Breakfast, Lavender Dinner, Alpenfest Lunches, Holiday House Bazaar, Pasty Sale. All financial proceeds are given to support global, national, state and local missions. Still not sure you want to join? Come and experience each of the Circles—kick the tires so to speak.
We are happy to pair you up with a Circle member for meetings or you can simply attend and participate.
- The GMW Unit meets at 1:00pm the first Tuesday of the Month.
- Hope Circle meets at 1:00pm, the Second Tuesday of the month.
- The Faith Circle meets at 1:00pm, third Tuesday of the month..
- Margueretta Circle meets at 7:00pm, the second Tuesday of the month.

"The Storm Inside" Study Group
Facilitated by Natalie Davis, The group meets Thursdays at 4:00pm in Room 109.
They will be utilizing streaming videos to study "The Storm Inside" by Sheila Walsh, with Denise Wendorff & Karen Lee-Thorp.
We all face storms in life, but God offers a way through the storm. We'll look at the stories of 8 women of the Bible who traveled the path from shame to love, from disappointment to hope, from insecurity to confidence, from despair to faith, and more. We'll get to know them as real people and see how God came through for each of them; we'll see the crucial choices they made; and we'll lay hold of the grace that forgives what is past, gives strength for the present moment, and offers hope for the future.
Saturday Morning "Uplifters" Women's Bible Study
Facilitated by Mitzie Lycka, this group meets Saturday Mornings at 7:00 am in
the Narthex.
The group is studying "Be Joyful" by Joyce Meyer.
The group's focus Scripture is
1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
