SAFETY:
The need for a safety program within the Church was recognized as new attacks on churches began making headlines throughout the country. Church parishioners should feel safe, comfortable and “In God’s Hands” while in their church. The purpose of the Safety Team is to maintain such feelings within the Church by providing a secure environment for church staff, leaders, parishioners and guests.
The Safety Team Committee has established Severe Weather Shelter Areas within the church as well as fire evacuation routes throughout the church. Our intrusion and our safety program also includes armed security.
